Existence is scary. Yet we still live it, breathe it and manifest it daily.

We Live In Very Exciting Times

We live in very exciting times! We can send information around the world in the blink of an eye. NASA has confirmed that Mars did indeed once have a habitable environment. A cure for cancer and a cure for HIV are currently being tested and developed. Chemtrails are trying really hard to prevent our planet from evolving but are ultimately failing. The looming deficit appears to have no end in sight but may just result in a major shift of our political landscape. World wide protests are taking place in an effort to bring about a greater awareness of the financial imbalance that has plagued the country for far too long. December 21, 2012 came and went without so much as a whimper (just like the Mayans predicted; contrary to popular belief). Massive amounts of new energies are shooting out from the center of the galaxy and are enveloping everything and everyone in its warmth.

But above all else, mankind is on the verge of reclaiming and embracing our humanity. Never before has such a monumental event taken place on such a massive scale! I for one am very grateful to be alive during such an important period of our history and evolution. We should all be grateful for there's no telling when another opportunity like this will present itself.

To Live On Mars

I'd like to live on Mars someday. If only for a month. I'd run around the dunes and swim in its many lagoons. And if at all possible I'd construct a sturdy raft, sail down river and catch and cook martian fish.

I'd try to find a companion but if none can be found I will not complain about the lack of companionship. For I will be the one and only human to traverse the red planet! I'll set up camp near a martian forest and sleep underneath the martian sky.

From time to time I'll look up at Earth and her moon and wonder what foolishness I might be missing. Chances are I won't be missing anything too important. I shall appreciate my time on Mars. Perhaps I'll even start my own civilization of free thinking sand people. But I will not be their king. No I will NOT! They'll have to decide that amongst themselves.

But if the sand people insist... I shall be no more than a guide. I'll teach them how to speak, write and create art. It may sound like a monumental task but I'd feel up to the challenge. If such a task takes longer than a month to complete then I'd be willing to stay longer.

I won't teach them much about Earth or our history. Mostly because I believe it would be best for them to focus on themselves and nothing else for a good long while. But if they should ask I'll just point at some random stars and tell them that everyone else is way too far away. They might agree, they might not.

I do expect their curiosity to get the better of them. Though, I'll probably be long gone by then. I'll either be physically gone or spiritually gone. Either way I'll be gone.

I'll probably live on Mars someday but for now I live on Earth.

One Million Breaths

How many times a day do you take a deep breath? Three? Four? Five? It must be more than a dozen, more than a hundred. But I suppose the exact number is not too important. Or maybe it is so important that it immediately becomes irrelevant.

Just as there are millions and millions of reasons for breathing; there are millions and millions of atoms holding it all together. Is there any excuse for being so apathetic towards the whole of creation? You may think there is but I think not.

Do not put your faith in things like greed, materialism, vanity, employment or capitalism. Such things are not capable of providing permanent happiness. You can fool yourself over and over but then that would just make you look like a court jester.

How many times a day do you contemplate? I mean really contemplate. There's no need to fear contemplation. Why would you fear it anyway? Of all the things in this world to fear... contemplation is definitely not one of them. Neither is breathing.

Take one million deep breaths daily. Contemplate one million profound deaths daily. Live, Love, Laugh.
